FeedbackFruits

FeedbackFruits

Welcome to the toolpage for FeedbackFruits!

FeedbackFruits is a tool that can be used within a Learning Management System (such as Canvas). It allows you as a lecturer to define a path that the student needs to go through (within a certain week for instance). Steps within this path may include reading a text, watching a video, answering some questions, submitting an assignment, peer reviewing other students’ assignments (and receiving feedback from other students and/or lecturer). FeedbackFruits allows for annotation in text and video. Students and lecturers can have discussions and write comments on study materials that are provided and on assignments that have been submitted.

Important updates

FeedbackFruits has had a few updates since September, these are the most important ones:

  • The way grades are calculated from scale ratings has changed for new assignments (existing assignments will stay unchanged). In new assignments, grades are from now on given a grade proportional to the rating score on scale rating criteria
  • Interactive Study Materials’ deadlines will now also be synched with Canvas, as was already possible with the assignments
  • Students have the ability to download the feedback they have received as a PDF and now they have the opportunity to download the feedback they have given as well
  • The student analytics export has been changed from CSV format to Excel format. This affects download buttons on Feedback Assignments, Interactive Study Materials
  • It is now possible for teachers to manually override student grades in FeedbackFruits assignments

For the full list of updates, please see the technical tools report. (also containing updates within Zoom and Canvas)
