Möbius, formally known as Maple TA, is a web-based testing and assessment tool specialized in scientific formulas and mathematical notation. It allows you to ask complex questions and allows students to respond in free text format using these formulas. It is possible to evaluate questions using formulas automatically.

Access

How to get access?

Möbius is available for all teaching staff and students using Canvas. Creating tests in Möbius requires some specialized programming knowledge. Contact the Möbius Team for support. If you let them know what kind of questions you want for your exam, they will be able to see if this is possible. They can then make an example exam for you to see if you really want to use Möbius for your exam.
