TLC Conference: How to make the most out of on-campus teaching?

Wednesday the 11th of May, TLC EB organised a conference on Active Learning: How to make the most out of on-campus teaching? Together with 50+ lecturers and colleagues we listened to Paul Kirschner, Emeritus Professor of Educational Psychology, when he took a deep dive into the concept of active learning, together with Peter van Baalen who explained what role Active Learning is going to play within our faculty. After the plenary part, all went off to the workshops, which were organised around three topics in two rounds: Active Learning; Educational Practices & Live Cases.

In order to hold on to the important information Paul Kirschner shared with us, we created a short infographic on his keynote. You can download the infographic here.

Besides the infographic, on this page you find a short Aftermovie to give an impression of the day. Furthermore, below Materials you find the recording that was made of the plenary part and the slides used during the plenary part and during the workshops.

If you attended the conference and have not filled in the evaluation yet, we kindly ask you to do so here. We would like to gain as much feedback as we can in order to improve our events continuously.
