The manuals are available for download in Dutch or English below. The three options are:

In order to divide the seats in the lecture hall for hybrid lectures, you can make use of Canvas Groups. The short manual and the tutorial shown below will provide a step-by-step explanation of how you can create Canvas Groups and use them as a sign-up system for physical attendance for hybrid lectures.
Download the manual here or watch the tutorial below.
After a few months of hybrid education, we gathered tips and tricks resulting from the first experiences of colleagues and support staff. You can find these regularly updated tips and tricks, categorised per subject, here.
In the ‘Hybrid Learning Theatre’ lecturers can lecture for students in person. The attending students form an online audience, projected on a big Zoom-wall. and a small group of students can attend the lecture in the theatre physically. During the lecture, interaction takes place between the physically attending students, the students that participate online via Zoom and the lecturer. UvA preserves the dynamic interaction as base for inspiring education with the new ‘Hybrid Learning Theatre’, even from home.
A tutorial on how to prepare your hybrid education in lecture halls has been created. Watch it below.
When you will be working with an iPad as whiteboard/extra screen, please download the manual below:

As preparation for your hybrid education, we developed two knowledge clips. One on how to keep your hybrid teaching manageable and one on how to ensure interaction with both groups using online tools. Have a look at them here.
If you want to learn more about hybrid teaching and how it is different from online or on-campus teaching, we can best ask our colleague Sebastian Kortmann (ABS) who has been teaching different courses in a hybrid format during the Covid period.
His experiences and his advice about how to teach and prepare for hybrid teaching the best is captured in a professional video that can be viewed here.
At the end of August, training sessions were organised for TAs to teach them how to moderate online and on-campus education. During this training we covered the main topics for the coming educational year: moderating online in Zoom, moderating on-campus in hybrid learning rooms, active learning and how to support your lecturer in the best way possible. Please refer your personal TA to the recording and hand-out linked below, so that they can prepare for hybrid education as well or let them sign up for this training on 19 October via the training page.
