Professionalisation

Want to participate in a training session?

The quality of university education is largely determined by the quality of the lecturers. That is why the UvA sets requirements for lecturers and helps them to develop their teaching skills. This may involve long-term courses (such as BKO/SKO), courses in the field of (online) activating education, but you can also submit a request for customised support or individual coaching by e-mailing TLC-EB.

Hybrid teaching video by Sebastian Kortmann

If you want to learn more about hybrid teaching and how it is different from online (or on-campus) teaching, we can best ask our colleague Sebastian Kortmann (ABS) who has been teaching different courses in a hybrid format during the Covid period.

His experiences and his advice about how to teach and prepare for hybrid teaching the best is captured in a professional video that can be viewed here.
