About GenAI

The widespread accessibility of generative AI tools in higher education has sparked both enthusiasm and concern, as the latest AI systems will significantly impact teaching and learning, offering opportunities and challenges for educators and students. GenAI, a subset of AI, harnesses generative capabilities, enabling machines to comprehend, process information, and autonomously generate human-like content. This evolution stems from advancements in natural language processing and machine learning technologies within the AI landscape.

Erdinç Saçan is lecturerresearcher at Fontys University of Applied Sciences. He is an expert in inclusive artificial intelligence, generative AI and education technology. Saçan is the author of the book Inclusive Artificial Intelligence.
