Hybrid Learning Theatre (M3.02)
Would you like to teach students both in the lecture room and online? In the Hybrid Learning Theatre (HLT) in room M3.02, you can easily combine in-person and online teaching. The room offers clear visuals and excellent sound quality. Thanks to its smart setup, you can interact seamlessly with your students and any guests. The HLT team will take care of the technical side of things so you can focus fully on your teaching.
The studio
This versatile space is ideal for lectures, workshops, conferences and (feedback) sessions, as well as for programmes offering hybrid or flexible education, such as part-time courses. The HLT is equipped with:
- 34 chairs with electrical outlets
- 6 HD cameras
- Ceiling microphones (no clip-on microphones needed)
- 4 presentation screens
Opening hours: Monday – Thursday, 09:00–22:00; Friday 09:00-20:00.

Technical support
For every booking, the HLT team provides assistance with cameras, microphones and Zoom, can focus entirely on your teaching.

Costs
There are two price categories:
- Lectures and sessions within the regular Economics and Business programme: free of charge
- Other bookings and sessions: €205 per hour (including technical support)

Reservations and cancellations
- For teaching within one of the regular Bachelor’s or Master’s programmes in Economics and Business (EB), please book the HLT via timetables-feb@uva.nl.
- For the EB Executive Programmes or teaching organised by another faculty, please use this form to make your reservation.
Important: teaching in the Economics and Business programmes has priority up to four weeks before the start of a new study period.
