Ensuring the value of our programmes
It is important to create a situation of trust where responsible use of GenAI is encouraged and students do not feel controlled. We want to help students engage in the learning process in the right way.
Long-term impact & current limitations
Either way, GenAI will become part of our teaching practice. In the long term, this means that we have to thoroughly evaluate and revise our current education and assessment. For instance, we would have to adjust learning outcomes, the way they are assessed, and courses will increasingly integrate GenAI. In addition, students would have to actively learn how to use GenAI responsibly. However, we cannot approve the use of GenAI until it complies with privacy regulations (GDPR) and is securely accessible to both staff and students.
Short-term adjustments
In the short term, GenAI also has an impact on assessment. Find more information via the pages below.
