FeedbackFruits Interactive Presentation is a tool that allows you to alternate the slides of your presentation with quiz questions and/or statements. Students can answer these questions on their own screen, after which you can make the answers visible for the whole group.

With this tool, as a teacher, I can:

  • add multiple choice and open-ended questions to the presentation ( optionally with time limit);
  • add images and videos to questions and answers.

Why should I use this tool?
  • With this tool you increase the interaction between students and yourself (in a large group), during a lecture (synchronously).
  • With the results of quiz questions you can identify ambiguities in the literature. This can be the starting point of a meeting.
  • Students gain insight into what they understand/manage and what they do not understand yet.
  • By integrating quiz questions into your teaching you create variety in the lecture and thus increase student engagement1.

What is this tool less suitable for?
  • The tool only offers multiple choice and open-ended questions. For more varied question types, you would do best to use Wooclap.
  • Your content presentation slides must be completed before you can add quiz questions using this tool. You can no longer edit or add content slides within this tool. This is possible in Wooclap.
When does this tool work best?
  • Always consider what the purpose of using this tool is. Why are you asking students certain questions at a specific time in your lecture? Do you want to examine whether students understand the material discussed? Or do you want to collect anonymous input from students?
  • In addition, consider how you will incorporate the answers into your teaching. What will the students do, or what will you do with the results? For example, will you use the results for a discussion or to tailor your instruction to the needs of the students?
