Explain Everything allows you to write on a digital whiteboard, and to use this for online lectures or pre-recorded videos.

With this tool, as a teacher, I can:

  • Create digital whiteboards/slides (consisting of text, drawings, pictures, video’s, files, mathematical equations)
  • Interact with these objects
  • Create clips/animations
  • Share the digital whiteboards/slides
  • Use a (better legible) digital whiteboard in lectures

Why should I use this tool?

Explain Everything is a collaborative and interactive whiteboard application that can be downloaded for Windows, iOS, Android and Chrome OS. Using a tablet or computer, you can write text and draw on a digital whiteboard (a slide) and import photos, videos and other files. Animated videos can be created by writing, drawing and using objects on the whiteboard while recording.

What is this tool less suitable for?
  • Should you just want to use the whiteboard function during a lecture, Microsoft Whiteboard is better suited.
When does this tool work best?
  • During lectures Explain Everything can be used as a virtual whiteboard. This works very well in combination with a tablet or iPad.
