Teams as digital classroom

How to facilitate student interaction and active learning before and after your (hybrid) classes?  With Microsoft Teams you can create a course-specific team and/or channel where your students can stay connected with each other and the teacher. It can be used as a digital workplace for students to work collaboratively on their group projects and as a digital classroom where  you can visit your student (groups) digitally and can help them out at designated timeslots. But how do you, as a teacher, create and facilitate this digital classroom and how can you use it to support active learning?
