An Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is relatively common, and the chance is quite high that you will get students in your class who have this diagnosis. How can you recognize possible difficulties in studying with ASD, and more importantly, how can you supervise these students in the best way?

Course description

Enriching module

This module will cover theory on ASD, what it is and how it can manifest itself. We will go into important theories that can help you understand the symptoms and in turn will help you when you are teaching/supervising students with ASD. All this is combined with practical tips on for example your communication and giving feedback.
