Feedback: key to learning
Feedback is a very important aspect of the learning process. It provides information about the learning process of students, makes it clear how advanced they are, and shows where developmental aspects lie
Questions that will be addressed in this course include: ‘What is good feedback?’, ‘Which criteria does good feedback meet?’ and ‘How do you ensure that the student benefits from the feedback?’.
Course details
The course is small, activating and interactive. We work with a small group of no more than 10 participants.
You will bring an example of a situation you find difficult to the session. You will practice under the guidance of a training actor and experience receiving feedback.
Intended Learning Outcome
After this course, you will be able to:
- indicate when and how to give effective feedback on behaviour;
- deal with “difficult situations” such as very present or very quiet students;
- explain why contact differs per student and why different students need different approaches.
