Would you like to explore how AI can help you create visual output? In this practical workshop, you will learn how to use UvA AI Chat to create and refine images and other visual materials based on text, reference images, and other types of input.
In this workshop, participants learn how to use UvA AI Chat to create and improve visual output. The focus is on combining different types of media, such as text and reference images, to generate figures and other visual elements, for example diagrams, flowcharts, and realistic images. Participants learn how to improve output iteratively and how to use reference material to arrive at more targeted, usable results. Attention is also paid to the limitations of using AI for visual work: when can AI quickly produce something useful, and when is it more efficient to continue working manually or use a different tool? During the workshop, participants will work hands-on with examples or their own ideas.
