Our educational advisors support lecturers and programme teams across a broad range of teaching and learning topics, including curriculum and course design, assessment, active learning, and the effective use of educational tools. In addition, they actively engage in educational innovation, exploring and promoting new approaches, technologies, and ideas that enhance teaching and learning practices. They offer one-to-one and group consultations, as well as workshops tailored to specific needs. By staying up to date with new developments in higher education, they ensure their guidance is current, relevant, and future-oriented.
Our didactical educators develop and provide professional development programs (e.g. UTQ) and courses tailored to the needs of the Faculty of Science. In addition, they provide peer consultation, lesson observation, coaching and ad hoc support. Through these activities, they support lecturers in developing their professional identity as lecturers and in cultivating a reflective approach to their teaching practice within their specific educational context.
Our trainerspool supports us by delivering the didactical modules and trainings for PhDs and Teaching Assistants, ensuring flexibility, continuity, and discipline wide expertise.
