(Non)verbal teaching behaviour
This training focuses on the impact of both verbal and non-verbal behavior in teaching. You’ll explore how speech and body language can enhance teaching effectiveness. Through practical exercises, you’ll also learn how to make informed choices regarding visual aids, tools, and classroom setup to support your teaching.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this training you will be able to…
- identify effective (non)verbal teaching behaviour in the classroom setting
- present theory on explaining using a specific presentation style
- demonstrate and compare different presentation styles using specific (non)verbal teaching behaviour
- receive feedback on posture and appearance while presenting

| Preparation and materials | No specific preparation is required for this training. However, it is helpful to think of a topic to practice your verbal and non-verbal teaching skills. During the training, you’ll be asked to present a topic or theory from your field, or something of general knowledge or procedures. This will allow you to experience different forms of presenting assigned during the training. |
