Guided hands-on Canvas session: Build your course | FNWI

Session content

In this session you’ll build and structure your course in Canvas, together with peers. You’ll receive didactic advice and practical tips, p.a. on building modules, assignments, and grade calculation.

The session is 2 hours with and optional 3rd hour to keep working on your page if you want to.

Learning Objectives:

After this session:

  • You can build and structure modules in Canvas.
  • You can create assignments on Canvas and with Canvas-linked external tools.
  • You can set-up an effective grade calculation in Final Grades.
  • You can use various learning-tools in Canvas to support student learning in your course.
  • Your new course-page will be – at least well on the way – ready for your students.

NB: This session will not go into details and functioning of external tools.
