Video format: field report
A field report or documentary is a high-quality, narrative video production that explores a particular issue. This format is a rich mix of various audiovisual elements: on-location interviews, atmospheric and supporting footage, possibly animations, a guiding voice-over or presenter, and supporting music.
A field report is a tailor-made product and is often costly and time-intensive to produce. It is particularly suitable for bringing the material to life, provoking emotional or intellectual engagement, providing context for theory, or portraying a realistic picture of the professional field. You might choose this format, for example, when the reach (your audience) is large and/or when you expect the report to remain relevant for a long time.
