Workshop Active learning: enhancing student engagement

Students who actively engage in their learning often achieve better results. They also tend to be more motivated than students who passively receive information. Also, active participation makes students more involved and makes them think more critically. 

It can be quite a challenge to design teaching in such a way that it stimulates active student participation and critical thinking. In this workshop you will discover how to effectively apply active learning techniques in your teaching.

Workshop details and intended learning outcomes

In this workshop, you will learn practical techniques for more dynamic and impactful teaching. We will discuss common challenges and show you methods for tackling them. By the end of this workshop, you will have a whole range of practical techniques for active learning. This will help make your lessons more dynamic and impactful, significantly boosting the engagement of your students.
