GenAI pilot plan

Template for thoughtful integration

Integrating GenAI into your course can offer valuable learning opportunities, but it also requires careful planning. To support you in this process, we’ve developed a pilot plan template that helps you reflect on the key aspects of GenAI integration, from design to implementation and evaluation.

Pilot plan

This document is meant for lecturers who are ready to experiment with GenAI in their teaching and want to ensure a thoughtful, well-supported approach. This pilot plan template includes guiding questions on:

  • Course context
  • Purpose and scope of GenAI use
  • Description of the teaching activity
  • Impact on the intended learning outcomes and assessment
  • Evaluation of GenAI’s effectiveness
  • Potential risks and mitigation strategies
  • Privacy, ethical, didactical, inclusivity and accessibility considerations
