(Thesis Supervision:) Structuring and Tailoring Supervision

This training focuses on your role as a (thesis) supervisor: how can you structure your supervision meetings? How can you tailor your supervision style to your student’s needs and manage expectations? How to find the right balance between support and autonomy? During the training we will find answers to these questions.

By the end of this training you will be able to…

  • understand what is important in a supervisor-student relationship
  • evaluate ownerhship in a supervision trajectory
  • create strategies to enhance a student’s self-regulation
  • diagnose a student’s characteristics
  • adapt support to a student’s characteristics/needs
